FRIDAY FASTING AND INTERCESSORY PRAYER
(Offered to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary)

Intention : For God’s intervention in the Benue state situation and other parts of the world experiencing similar violence and bloodshed.
Let us cry before the Lord with heavy hearts, praying for his divine intervention in the Benue state situation and other parts of the world experiencing similar conflicts and crises. We cry out to the Lord for peace, justice, and restoration.
Lord, we know that you are the God of all comfort, and we ask that you bring solace to the families who have lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods. May He heal their wounds, comfort their hearts, and give them hope for a brighter future.
We pray for the leaders of Benue state, Nigeria, and other affected regions in the world, that the Lord would grant them wisdom, courage, and compassion to address the root causes of the conflict. May they work tirelessly to find lasting solutions, and may their efforts be guided by your wisdom and justice.
Lord, we pray for the perpetrators of violence, that you would touch their hearts and minds, and bring them to repentance. May they turn away from hatred and violence, and instead choose the path of peace, love, and reconciliation.
We pray for the people of Benue state, Nigeria, and other affected regions in the world, that you would give them strength, resilience, and hope in the face of adversity. May they remain united, and may their voices be heard as they cry out for justice and peace.
Lord, we pray that your presence would be felt in these regions, that your peace would reign, and that your justice would roll down like a river. May your love and compassion be poured out upon those who are suffering.
We pray for the international community, that they would respond with compassion, generosity, and wisdom to alleviate the suffering of those affected.
Lord, we pray that you would use this crisis as an opportunity to bring people together, to foster understanding, reconciliation, and peace.
